The weather was perfect, the track looked smooth and fast and the drivers were ready to contest the Belt Up NZ Modified Champs here at Max Motors Family Speedway.
After 3 heats for each of the 3 groups and some skilled and exciting racing the first 18 qualifiers (6 from each group) were found. The final race of the night was the repercharge which yielded the final 2 drivers to contest the 3 heat final tomorrow night.
